Black ginseng is made by repeating steaming/drying the undried ginseng more than 3 times.
Its color is light dark brown or dark brown.
When repeating this steaming/drying process 9 times, very dark red colored black ginseng, the Gu-jeung-gu-po black ginseng is completed.
The Gu-jeung-gu-po black ginseng contains diverse and abundant saponins the main component of ginseng.
In this manufacturing process, starch particles contained in ginseng tissues are converted from the Sol state to the Gel state.
During the process, its skin (reticulated tissue) is not removed, so black ginseng can contain a lot of effective ingredients.
